SCULPTURAL OUTDOOR WATER FOUNTAIN
Built Around the Space It Leaves Empty
Two sweeping stone arcs curve upward and leave an open void between them. Four copper glazed bowls hang across that gap at different heights, and water travels through the empty space rather than down a solid face. What you are looking at is as much the opening as the object, which is not how any other fountain here is put together.
Everything else in this collection builds mass. Stacked pots, tiered bowls, rectilinear columns, rock faces. They are all about material filling space. This one cuts space out of the material and hangs the water in it, so from the side you see garden through the middle of the fountain and the silhouette changes as you walk past. It behaves like a piece of sculpture that happens to move water rather than a water feature with a shape.
Warm LEDs sit inside the bowls, so after dark four pools of amber light float in the void with the stone arcs dark around them. At 40 inches on a 14 inch square footprint it holds height without floor space, and at 29.7 pounds one person can move it.
What Makes This Fountain Different
- Negative space is the design, and it changes how the piece reads in a garden. A solid fountain blocks whatever is behind it and looks the same from every angle you can see the front. Cut a void through the middle and two things happen. You keep the view through it, which matters in a small space where blocking a sightline costs you depth. And the silhouette shifts as you move, because the amount of background showing through the opening changes with your position. That is why this reads as sculpture rather than as an ornament with water in it.
- Bowls suspended in the gap, not stacked on a column. The four vessels are held across the opening at staggered heights rather than sitting one on top of another. Water crosses open air between them, which is visible from the side in a way a stacked cascade never is.
- Warm light floating in a dark frame. The LEDs sit inside the bowls, so at night four amber pools hang in the void while the stone arcs stay dark. The lit elements appear to float rather than to be attached, which is the effect the shape was built for.
- Adjustable flow, which suits close placement. The pump adjusts down to a near silent trickle. On a piece designed to be looked at rather than heard, being able to turn the sound down without turning the fountain off is worth having.
Light and adjustable. Four short falls between suspended bowls give a soft trickle rather than a cascade, and the pump turns down further from there. This is a fountain chosen for how it looks, and the sound is deliberately not competing with that. It will not cover traffic. How loud it seems will still shift with the flow setting, the water level, and the surfaces around it, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own space.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Setup and placement
Fill it, plug it in, done. No plumbing and nothing to bury. At 29.7 pounds one person can place it.
Think about what is behind it before you settle the position. On a piece built around an opening, the background shows through the middle and becomes part of the object. Planting, a fence panel, or open sky all read differently through the void.
Water level and daily care
Keep enough water in the base to cover the pump so it never runs dry. Water crossing open gaps between bowls is more exposed to wind drift than water running down a solid face, so on a breezy site you will lose more and should check more often.
Clear debris from the bowl rims. Anything on a lip sends the fall past the bowl below rather than into it, which on this design means water leaving the fountain entirely.
Looking after the finish
The carved stone arcs and the copper bowl glaze are what carry the look, so wipe with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners off. In hard water areas a pale film builds on the wet bowl rims, and it is easier to remove before it sets than after.
Winter storage
Before freezing weather, drain every bowl and the base completely, disconnect and store the pump, and dry the piece out. Water standing in a suspended bowl through a freeze and thaw is what causes damage. At 29.7 pounds it comes indoors easily, which is the safest option and straightforward given it is rated for indoor use anyway.

Questions Before You Choose
Where does it belong?
Somewhere you walk past rather than only look at from one fixed spot, since the silhouette changes with your position. A path edge, a courtyard, a patio corner, or an entry. It also suits a small garden, where a solid piece would block depth and this one keeps the view through it. Modern and zen settings take it best, and it works indoors in a sunroom or a wide entry.
Is it stable at 29.7 pounds?
On a level solid surface, yes. The 14 inch square base is wide relative to the height. But it is light for a 40 inch piece, so an exposed windy site or soft uneven ground are both worth avoiding, and it should not be somewhere a running dog would clip it.
Is it real carved stone?
No. It is resin with a carved stone finish. Real stone cut into curved arcs with an open void would be enormously expensive and far too heavy to move, which is precisely why this shape is available at this price. From a few feet away the surface reads as carved stone.
Is it safe around children and pets?
The open frame and suspended bowls are the parts to protect, so keep it out of the main running route and do not let children pull on the bowls. Set it on a hard level surface, run the cord where it will not catch a foot. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
