LASER CUT SPHERE WATER FOUNTAIN OUTDOOR
A Column of Wildflowers That Comes On After Dark
By daylight this is a quiet gray column with a sphere on top and a faint pattern around the middle, understated enough that most people walk past it. Then the sun goes, the whole band of cut flowers fills with warm light, and the ground around the base picks up the pattern as it spills through. The corner you put it in stops being a corner.
It is not a lawn fountain. At 9.45 inches across it will look thin from twenty feet out. The right places are the ones you move through or sit in. The gap beside the front door, the corner of a deck where the railing turns, the strip between a walkway and a planting bed. At 34.25 inches tall it still reads at standing height, so it holds its own next to a bench instead of disappearing behind the arm of it.
The thing people underestimate is the weight. Tall, narrow, and 11.9 pounds all at once. Set it on something solid and level, and if the spot is exposed, put it where a wall, a railing, or planting takes the wind off it. A corner is not just the right look for this one. It is the safer spot.
What Makes This Fountain Different
- The flowers light up. A band of wildflowers is laser cut through the metal, so by day it reads as a faint pattern on a gray column. After dark the LED inside turns every cut stem and petal into warm gold light. They are lit from the inside out, which is why it looks like a field at dusk rather than a lamp with a sticker on it. Put it where you will be after sunset. That is the version of this fountain you actually paid for.
- Tall and narrow, so it fits where nothing else will. A 9.45 inch body is a footprint smaller than a dinner plate. It slides into the gap beside a door or fills a deck corner without eating usable space.
- Quiet by design, which is either the point or the dealbreaker. The pump puts out 0.32 watts. If you want water loud enough to cover traffic, this is the wrong fountain. If you want water near a window without it turning into background noise, this is why you would choose it.
- Powder coated metal, not molded stone. The cut edges of the flowers are thin and sharp in a way molded material cannot be. At 11.9 pounds one person carries it out of the box and sets it up alone.
Quiet. Water travels a short distance from the top of the sphere down the body, so it is a low trickle rather than a cascade. It reads as a small sound beside a seat and fades at conversation distance, and the flow adjusts down from there. How loud it seems will still shift with the water level, the wall or paving next to it, and the planting around it, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own corner.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Simple outdoor setup
Set it level, fill the reservoir, plug it in. Tool free, one person, a few minutes. The plug is a standard US outlet, so measure from the outlet before you commit to a spot or plan on an outdoor rated extension cord. Check that it sits flat before you switch it on, because a narrow body tilted slightly will push water out one side.
Daily and winter care
The reservoir holds between half a gallon and two gallons, so the water level is the thing to stay on top of. Keep enough in it to cover the pump, and check more often in heat, wind, or full sun. Wipe the body with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners off the coat.
Before freezing weather, drain it completely, unplug it, dry it, and bring it inside. At 11.9 pounds that is one trip.
How the finish holds up
The coat is what the whole look depends on. Treat scratches the way you would on a garden gate rather than ignoring them, because bare metal under a chip is where trouble starts. Near the coast, salt in the air is harder on a powder coat than sun is, so rinse it more often.

Questions Before You Choose
Where will it look most natural?
Beside a door, along a walkway, in a deck corner, between planters, or next to the chair you use in the evening. The test is whether you pass within a few feet of it, and whether you are out there after dark. A wall or fence close by gives the light something to fall on, which makes the pattern read better at night.
Is it a large garden centerpiece?
No. At 9.45 inches across it is built to sit in a corner, against a wall, or tucked between planters as background rather than the main event. On an open lawn it will look thin. If you want something that holds the middle of a yard, look at the tiered concrete fountains instead.
Is it safe around children and pets?
This one is tall, narrow, and light, so it tips more easily than a wide fountain of the same height. Keep it out of the running path and away from where a dog turning a corner would catch the base. Run the cord along a wall or a bed edge so it will not snag a foot. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
